This privacy policy applies to the services of Lucee Association Switzerland. This document explains what information we collect when you use our website, why, and for what purposes. In this privacy policy we also incorporate our cookie policy.

We respect the privacy of everyone who comes into contact with Lucee Association Switzerland and ensure that the personal information provided to us is treated confidentially. Processing of personal data is done in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Use of your personal data

The entered data is not provided to third parties without explicit prior permission, unless Lucee Association Switzerland is obliged to do so on the basis of the law or a court decision.

 

Special and / or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and / or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we can not check if a visitor is older than 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@lucee.org and we will delete this information.

 

Communication

When you send emails or other messages to us, it is possible that we keep these messages. Sometimes we ask you for personal details that are relevant to the situation. This makes it possible to process your questions and answer requests. The data is stored on the secure servers of Lucee Association Switzerland or that of a third party with a secure server. Lucee Association Switzerland does not affect the processing and storage of this information on Google's servers which may also be located outside the European Union.

 

Purposes

We only use your data for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. This data is used to perform the service. The data is stored on secure the servers of Lucee Association Switzerland or that of a third party. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties have all been kept confidential on the basis of the agreement between them and us or as an oath or legal obligation.

Web hosting and email

We use web hosting from Linode. They process personal data on our behalf and do not use your data for their own purposes. Linode has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Linode is required to observe secrecy on the grounds of the agreement.

 

Newsletter

You can register via our website for the general newsletter of Lucee Association Switzerland. In this way, we inform subscribers about developments that are relevant to our customers. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe. Your name and email address will never be used for any other purpose than for sending the requested newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely.

We use MailChimp for sending our newsletters. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve the services and to share information with third parties (not your personal data).

 

Storage period of the data

The general visit data is not saved for longer than 26 months. The information that you have provided to us so that we can contact you by telephone or by e-mail will be retained until the contact has taken place.

This means that we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this as a request to forget. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we need to keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs.

Lucee Association Switzerland reserves the right to make changes to the privacy statement. On this page you will always find the most recent version. If the new privacy policy has consequences for the way in which we already collect data relating to how we process the personal data, we will notify you by email.
